Da Capo Second Season
I finished this series about a week ago. Because there are already enough other blogs where you can read the story, and most people have seen the show anyway, I’m not going to give a summary, but just give some of my main thoughts on these series.
First of all, I think the original Da Capo was better than this one. Although the second season wasn’t bad it couldn’t love up to the first season, if i may call it like that.
I personally thought Asia was rather irritating, and I’ve been annoyed with her performance all the time. I know that without her, there wouldn’t have been much of a story, but still she was an annoying brat if you ask me. Besides, I was really surprised to see her being in the same class as Jun’ichi. When we first meet her, one would think she’s only about Miharu’s age or even younger. But I guess she really had to take on Sakura’s previous role in this series. I could appreciate Sakura a lot better in this series, at least she’s grown up (psychologically I mean). I can go on ranting about every reason why I think Aisia was irritating, but I’m not going to, in order not to sound to negative.
Ever since the last series I’ve been a Nemu-fan (one of the few I guess) so I’m very happy they kept Nemu and Jun’ichi together. The wedding was just…wonderful! I love weddings ^_^ I couldn’t have thought of a better ending myself.
Overall, this series was good, even if it wasn’t as good as the first season. It was nice to see al the characters again, and the new characters were nice (except for Aisia being irritating).
